A young
man at this construction site was bragging that he could outdo anyone based on
his strength. He especially made fun of one of the older workman. After several
minutes, the older worker had enough.
"Why don't you put your money where your mouth is?" he said. "I'll bet a week's wages that I can haul something in a wheelbarrow over to the other building that you won't be able to wheel back."
The old man reached out and grabbed the wheelbarrow by the handles. Then nodding to the young man, he said with a smile, "All right. Get in."
All joking aside, sometimes
finding innovative ways to solve problems on the job site may be the key to
running a successful project. The
construction industry has long been a slave to the pen and paper approach of
tracking employees and job progress.
However, with technology you can say goodbye to pen and paper and instead
save money by using a mobile resource management solution. What will a mobile resource management system
do that pen and paper can’t.
1.
Reduce time spent on
payroll with fewer mistakes
2.
Give foreman up to the
minute information they need to make critical decisions
3.
Document job site activities with
pictures and notes that can be attached to the project
A mobile resource
management solution will do much more than what is listed above. Isn’t it AboutTime to think outside the box
and check out all that a mobile resource management solution can do for your
business?
